Hmmm a piece for my studio project....just thought of posting this up since my other work isn't worth showing :cry:

haha i know the face is kns, still learning :xD:

The concept is based on Malay wedding...flowers coming out of the sleeves act as the hinas(sp?) [the non permanent tatoo that Malay gets]..and then the dancers behind to show flow of music since malay instrument's beat are quite organised.. :x

ah this is beautiful~ all the delicate intricacies that you added especially in the headgear really blend well together.
but i must agree the face needs to be worked on, especially since all details (colour, flow etc) seem to point to the face and make it center of attraction. so face has to be especially good, in this case.
but no worries~ you have a very strong grasp of colour and that special element of graphic art which i think is your forte, anatomy can always be practised when there's more time for it :D
and btw, i think the term you meant is 'henna' ~__~

I agree with annhell that the face needs to be worked on. But other than that, the headress looks great and very nice colors!

I don't know if it's me or the mouth looks a little off. Anyway, other than the face, the other details were fine in an abstract way which is cool.
