Hi guys,
Seeing so many good drawings inspire me to draw more myself. Here are some of the drawings I've did. They are drawn using a Mech. Pencil and colored using Microsoft Picture Manager.
There's a reason why I used a Picture manager. My lappy had gone down. Boohoo... T-T

Hi AlienJ, yeah I'm an One Piece fan too. Currently reading vol.45 (Still trying to keep up..). It as become an addiction already, serious. :smilieCute:
Hey, nice you see ya here, its Merv from MGK07.:)
Nice pics, looking great! Though you might want to get some perspective lines on the 2nd pic to lay out the image, it will be easier to pull of such a perspective.

I was trying to get a an "old warriors" feel. I like the texture of the face but the hair can be further improve. Perhaps sharpen the highlights will do?

This is my first speed painting practice. I'm hoping to improve on my colors
Thanks for viewing.
Cheers~!
Josh.
1st pic: I think the contrast between the colouring style of the face (sharp lighting/shadows) and the hair (blur/smudged look) makes it look not quite together. Otherwise, the face shading is nice. ^^
2nd pic: Looks good to me. ^^
Great job on the recent pics! You might want to go easy on saturated colours, colour doge/burn/multiply are things you want to use sparringly.

1st pic: Yeah, I think I understand what you mean.
2nd pic is just a testing. :)

Thanks Mrv for the comments. Thanks also for the encouragement you gave me at the seminar. Its wonderful to meet familiar faces at the event. hehe.. Actually, I only apply Multiply which is normally how I overlap colors with line works. However, I realize that after many layers, there seems to occur some distortion in between so I try to adding less multiply layers.
The shining reflection was purely mixing colors.
Thanks for the C&C.
Josh. :smilieCute:
