Arts Network Asia (ANA) wishes to invite Asian artists, cultural workers, arts activists, and arts communities in Asia to the ANA Grants scheme for projects that will take place in 2009.
The ANA, set up by an independent group of artists, cultural workers and arts activists, is an enabling grant body working across borders in multiple disciplines including visual arts, film/video/new media, performing arts, literature, critical discourse and arts management. It operates in 11 languages.
ANA supports projects that are carried out by Asian artists, residing in Asia; projects that are to be initiated and implemented in Asia, engaging with Asia artists and arts communities. ANA will consider projects that encourage challenging, provocative exchanges and collaborations between different cultures, different communities within Asia.

Applications open from 15 October to 15 November 2008.
Submission is to be made from 15 October onwards via the ANA website at www.artsnetworkasia.org.
