will be sharing my sculptures and maquattes in this thread. cc most welcome.

sculpted this based on a sketch i did after watching the Bridge to Terabithia which i like it alot. did this last yr during a maquatte class. took me quite a long time to do this but lovin the whole processing .

zomg. godliness. how did you do those vines? were they seperately sculpted or sculpted out of one whole chunk?

i always respect and admire people can do sculptures like this~~ this is seriously awesome until my jaws drop from 3rd floor to basement *lolzJKJK* XD;; esp it's a sketch to a real thing out whoaaawesomeness to maximummm!!!

kujo>the vines were done in a mixture of ways. some were sculpted seperately in set pieces n joined to body, some parts were sculpted and carving out the details and some were seperate pieces on thin wire armatures . hope tat answer yr questions. glad u like it :)

another creature maquatte piece tat i started a couple of weeks back. had a rough concept of how he will look like but still in process of designing him as i go along.. will post my progress as time goes by.

Power, very nice! :D I noticed theres a tiny 4 legged white creature with green wings, thats pretty cool too.

jus take some sculpey n start sculpting if u keen n i m sure u will do jus fine.

Oh, by the way, any place to reccommend to buy sculpey? As in the grey block kind (or similar to it), not the small small colored kind. (Those are way too expensive) cause I'm thinking of trying out sculpting with it, so next time when take sculpturing, will have gotten a feel of it already. :D

If you buy from Art Friend, it is $29 I think. If you buy from "special sources", it'll be $25/box.

would love to color it.. too bad it's no longer with me liao. gave it as a gift. :) mayeb next time if got chance to take back a while.. maybe color liao then give back.

maybe will color the next one but there's a charm in grey/pink sculpey tat i like.. so see how n if got time n mood a not.

Holy CRAP. Hats off for sculpting the first one without going crazy from twisting allllll those million vines! Amazing patience....and it pays off....

Wah thanks man! Argh truth is I haven't been drawing anything interesting (or drawing anything at all) for a while...*sobs for absent creativity* But now got more motivation now that the forum is back, so will try! :D
